Your fork is a powerful tool, what you put on the end of it ultimately makes you miserable and sick – or – energised and alive! Every time you eat you make that choice. This is how I have come to view food, and why I want to inspire you with simple, nutritious and tasty recipes, that make choosing the healthy option, the easy option. I want to show you that healthy doesn’t have to be all kale and carrot sticks. As well as smoothie bowls and superfood salads, healthy can include pizza, pies, bread, brownies, cheesecake, ice-cream… and much more! All in my own Naturally Sweet way…
PURE + SIMPLE
Our new way of eating primarily began as a way to heal disease. When my Dad got poorly we used food as medicine, to reverse type two diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Now this is a lifestyle choice my family and I follow, not only because it prevents, heals and reverses disease, but because it supports us to live more vibrant, energetic and joyful lives.
As a general rule, we’ve cut out “nasties”: highly processed foods, refined sugars, and anything written on a label that you cannot pronounce – if you can’t understand it, I doubt your body can either! We’ve replaced these with an abundance of whole, naturally sourced, organic produce – purely nourishing honest food.
Taking control of your health is empowering. But how has something as fundamental as eating become so complicated, and even poisoning? It boils down to money. Food is one of the largest industries on the planet, and big corporations are more interested in their bank balances than your well-being. So it’s no wonder there is so much confusion surrounding health. This is why I did my own evidence-based research to understand what we need to thrive. However, even this can be overwhelming, as there are so many diets: Paleo, Keto, Mediterranean, Vegan, Low Carb, Ayurvedic, Alkaline, Raw… the list goes on. All have their pros and cons. However, I have found that the strong underlying thread, and the key to a first-rate diet, is an emphasis on good-quality, real produce – as nature intended. This belief is supported by evidence from ‘blue zones’ – regions where people live longer than anywhere else on earth.

Our Naturally Sweet lifestyle is plant-based, topped with the best quality animal products and seasoned with a few good vibes! It’s free from refined sugar, wheat, gluten, and empty calories, with lactose- and dairy-free options, as well as vegan alternatives. We like to count nutrients, not calories – simple label-less food.
Although these are our basic outlines, no two bodies are the same, so there is no one-size-fits-all diet. Only you know what truly makes you feel good. Listen to your body and experience what is right for you. I hope that we inspire and empower you to live the life you deserve.
