NUTS ABOUT BUTTER
Almond butter can be expensive to buy, so why not make your own? Simply roast your almonds to bring out their natural flavours, then blend until you create some oozing goodness! If you prefer a crunchy butter, crush some more almonds and stir through. Almonds are one of the world’s top sources of vitamin E, essential for healthy skin and eyes and full of antioxidants.
Great for dipping, spreading, or if you are like me, eaten straight from the jar!

- Oven
- Food Processor
Ingredients
- 300 g Almonds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160°C.
- Roast almonds for 20 minutes.
- Process in food processor until smooth.
- Keep scraping down the sides of the processor, this will take about 10-15 minutes depending on the strength of your processor.
