VEGAN FAST FOOD
What is tempeh? Tempeh is made from fermented soya beans and makes an excellent meat replacement. The reason I like tempeh as an alternative is that, like meat, it is naturally high in protein and has a firm meaty texture. It’s also rich in iron, fibre and prebiotics, commonly missing from general diets.
Tempeh, like chicken, takes on most flavours well. This homemade smoky BBQ marinade is sugar-free, super simple and has only six ingredients. A fabulous fast food fix!
When purchasing soya products choose only organic as non-organic soya is one of the top GM crops and has been linked to negative health implications.
