CASHEW NUT NOT MILK
Cashew milk is the easiest of all the plant-based milks to make yourself. It doesn’t require any de-skinning or straining, literally just soak and blend. Also, you can control the creaminess of your milk, depending on how much water you add.
There are a few good plant-based milk brands available, but a lot have added unwanted ingredients. By making your own milk, you can control what you add, or rather – don’t add, to it.

Ingredients
- 150 g Cashews
- 1 L Water
Instructions
- Soak cashews in water overnight.
- Sieve cashews and rinse.
- Blend cashews with 500ml of water until smooth.
- Add the remaining 500ml of water and blend.
- Optional: Filter cashew milk through sieve to remove any pulp.
