A good sauce can transform a dish. However, most shop-bought sweet chilli sauces are often heavily ladened with sugar. A sweet red pepper, which contains nearly three times more vitamin C than an orange, forms the basis of our sauce. Another sneaky way to add more vegetables to your dish! Great for dipping, or to form the base of a meal. We love teaming ours with chicken or prawns, perfect to add a bit of punch to your plate.

Sweet Chilli Sauce

- Oven
- Blender
Ingredients
- ½ Red Pepper
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2-3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Tomato Puree
- ½ tsp Chilli Flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160°C.
- Roast red pepper for 30 minutes.
- Blend red pepper with all other ingredients: extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tomato puree and chilli flakes, until smooth.
