FROZEN FRUIT POPS
These are probably the easiest ice lollies you can make! Highly refreshing and 100% nutritious. Although watermelon has a high GI of 72 it does in fact have a low GL of 2, which is more accurate in terms of its effect on blood glucose. Watermelon is the richest known natural source of l-citrulline, an amino acid that our bodies convert to arginine which produces nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is known to improve blood flow and lowers blood pressure.
Because watermelons are so large this is also an excellent way to avoid waste.

Watermelon Ice Lollies

- Kebab Sticks
Ingredients
- Watermelon
Instructions
- Cut watermelon into one circular slice.
- Slice watermelon into even slices, like you would a piece of cake.
- Push a kebab stick into the skin edge of the watermelon.
- Place watermelon onto a sheet of baking paper, making sure the pieces do not touch each other.
- Freeze until frozen, about 4 hours.
- Once frozen, move to a freezer safe storage container or bag.
